Our Leadership and Board members come from diverse business backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience building renewable energy companies from start-up though to maturity. Our extended Leadership team provides guidance across the full range of company activities needed to drive AMPYR Solar Europe's growth to becoming a leading European IPP.
Thomas is a non-executive Chairman at AMPYR Solar Europe, and the chair of the Investment Committee and the Risk & Audit Committee.
Thomas Stenvoll is a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Hartree Partners. Thomas is Co-Head of Global Equities and European Renewables.
Prior to Hartree Thomas was a founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at Bocage Capital a commodity and equity focused Hedge Fund, as well as lead oil and gas analyst at Caxton Europe Asset Management and Head of Energy Strategy at UBS.

Tarun is the CEO of AMPYR Solar Europe.
Tarun has over 25 years' experience in renewables energy development, construction across Solar, wind and storage projects in Asia.Previously, Tarun was Managing Director, technical Services and EPC, Vena Energy ( a GIP company), and CTO of Energon, Equis Energy.

Elmahdi Tahri is a non-Executive Board Member at AMPYR Solar Europe. He provides guidance around financing strategies and capital management and chairs the Nominations and Remunerations Committee.
Mehdi is an AGP Partner and CIO of AMPYR Energy Global. He has over 20 years of experience in infrastructure corporate finance, M&A and management.
Prior to AGP he was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, Head of Infrastructure, Power & Utilities Asia, and Group CFO at Summit Power International.

Steve is an Executive Director and the Chief Commercial Officer of AMPYR Solar Europe. He provides senior oversight to the PPA origination team, and helps steer ASE's commercial optimisation activities.
Steve is a Partner at Hartree Partners and has deep experience in power markets and developing power trading businesses.

Stephen Mason
Non-Executive Board Member
Andrew is the non-executive Board member of AMPYR Solar Europe, and the chair of ASE's ESG Committee. He is also an AGP Partner and Director of AMPYR Energy Global.
Andrew is an established figure in the real estate business. Prior to co-founding AMPYR Solar Europe, he was the UK CEO of JLL and Chairman of the UK Green Building Council.
Andrew is a by-Fellow of Hughes Hall, Cambridge and a former member of the Governing Council of University College London.

Andrew Gould
Non-Executive Board Member
Henny is a non-Executive Board member at AMPYR Solar Europe.
Henny has deep experience in the solar industry, leveraging extensive national and international connections with investment stakeholders. With a background in finance and law, including worldwide experience in company acquisitions, he has experience in building businesses from inception to success.
Prior to AMPYR Solar Europe, Henny held senior and executive positions at ABN AMBO Bank and Banque Nationale de Paris. He also founded an international financial services company in 12 countries and acted as a board member and shareholder in several publicly listed and private family investment companies.
In 1999 Henny founded a family-owned renewables energy company, NaGa Solar Holding, now part of AMPYR Solar Europe.

Lars is Chief Commercial Officer at Ampyr Solar Europe and brings 25 years' experience in energy markets. Before AMPYR Solar Europe he was Head of Energy Markets at Skyborn Renewables and held various leadership roles at Vattenfall's trading and origination department, Cargill and BayernLB. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and engineering from the Technical University Berlin.

Lars Mähl

Dhruv is the Chief Financial Officer of AMPYR Solar Europe.
Prior to joining the firm, Dhruv was a Managing Director at White Oak Global Advisors, a San Francisco headquartered private credit fund, and was responsible for providing structured debt capital to commodity traders across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
Dhruv started his career in proprietary structuring and trading at HSBC and most recently Credit Suisse, where he deployed over $5 billion of the banks' balance sheets in structured cross-border products, real asset purchases and insurance companies.

Cyrus is the Chief Operating Officer of AMPYR Solar Europe.
Prior to joining AMPYR Solar Europe, Cyrus held various senior roles at Hartree Partners.
His experience comes from the energy industry, including BP where he held a variety of commercial and trading positions in the UK and US, and ENI where he was Head of Risk. Cyrus also held Partner and Director positions in Management Consulting firms including EY, KPMG and Infosys, where he delivered strategy, commercial and governance solutions to a wide range of clients in Europe, the US, Latin America and Asia.

Shashank is Investment Director of AMPYR Solar Europe. He held a key role in the formation of AMPYR Solar Europe at its inception and during the company's fund-raising process. Currently Shashank leads the Investment Function at ASE, responsible for Investments, Investor Relations, and M&A activities for the company. Shashank brings over 12 years of infrastructure investment experience across South Asia, UK and Europe.
Previously Shashank worked at Hydreq (Equis Funds Group), Feedback Infra, SAP and Accenture.

Investment Director
Prior to joining ASE, Iris held roles as Managing Counsel at Lightsource bp, primarily supporting the Structured Finance team, and Head of Legal at Qila Biogas, a UK startup developing biogas projects.
Iris spent the early years of her career in private practice, working as a Finance lawyer at Watson Farley & Williams in London, Clifford Chance in Frankfurt and Russell McVeagh in Auckland, with experience in financing renewables, conventional power and infrastructure projects, aircraft and commodities.
