Land rights and grid secured, planning submitted
Key Project Numbers
Project Status
AMPYR Solar Europe (ASE) submitted the planning application for Byde Mill Solar Farm in December 2024, and is still awaiting a decision, in time for the NESO grid reform Gate 2 process. ASE already has an option to lease, as well as a grid connection accepted for this project.
With a capacity of 13.5MWp, the facility will generate enough power for the equivalent of approximately 5,000 homes, whilst saving around 5,000 tonnes per year of CO₂.
