The photovoltaic (PV) installation was connected to the grid on March 16, 2026, marking another important step in ASE’s mission to accelerate the energy transition across Europe.

With an installed capacity of 26.9 MWp, the Snelle Loop project spans a total area of 18.11 hectares and comprises 37,287 solar modules. The solar park is expected to generate enough clean electricity to supply the equivalent of approximately 9,000 households with green power, while avoiding around 12,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

The project highlights ASE’s continued commitment to delivering highquality renewable energy infrastructure in key European markets, particularly in the Netherlands, where the company continues to expand its presence.

A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is also planned as part of the Snelle Loop project. The BESS is expected to be completed in September 2026 and will enhance grid stability, optimize energy use, and further increase the overall efficiency and flexibility of the site.
